Standard black Grids

The relevant standard DIN EN ISO 14120 requires the following:

• If observation of the machine operation is required, for example, for troubleshooting or during setup, materials with suitable properties must be selected, such as safe glass or polycarbonate. If a perforated material like perforated sheet metal or spot-welded mesh is used, it should have appropriately large openings and a dark color to ensure good visibility.
   
• The protective fence fillings made of perforated materials should not be painted in bright colors for process observation, as they could obstruct the view of the work process. Visibility is improved if the perforated material is darker than the area being observed. Therefore, our spot-welded mesh is powder-coated in black. This also has the advantage of being particularly robust and resistant to the influences of daily operations. We recommend highlighting hazardous movements with color, while keeping the separating protective device neutral!
